Kings Park Road

Located on a site previously occupied by a single house, this nine unit apartment building achieved the maximum density and plot ratio possible while meeting the development regulations for the site. The primary units, facing Kings Park, have a double frontage. One with a generous balcony and the other with a curtain glass wall to maximise access to the expansive view. These primary units are complemented by smaller, two storey units to the north. The balance of two types of units improved the financial feasibility of the project by enabling it to cater to a broader market.

A particular challenge was the incorporation of all required car parking on site. This was achieved by incorporating innovative strategies, such as a mechanical car stacking system. The project was made financially viable by obviating the need for additional basement levels and the necessary circulation space.
